Eliminate ground sleeves and easily install these surface-mount tennis posts on indoor or outdoor courts. These 42″ high surface mount posts boast all the features of the classic in-ground Premier™ SQ posts except they offer a heavy-duty bottom welded base plate to secure the posts to the court’s playing surface. These tennis posts meet official ITF Tournament Regulations.

DIMENSIONS

The surface mount tennis net posts measure 42” in length. The steel base plate measures 7” x 6”.

POST AND BASE

These 3” square tennis posts are constructed from heavy-duty 11-gauge steel and welded to a thick base plate to secure posts to the playing surface. The posts are finished with a black baked-on polyester powder coat to resist rust and increase durability. The post features integrated welded steel lacing rods for securing the net to the post.

HARDWARE

The Douglas® Premier™ tennis post series are all internally wound featuring a self-locking gear mechanism that prevents recoiling during winding. The main gear is constructed of plated steel while the small gear is case-hardened. The internal gear function is a 30:1 ratio, ensuring smooth and easy operation. The gear housings and caps are made of cast aluminum alloy. The posts flush mounted gear plate cover and removable handle are chrome plated.

If at some point the hardware needs to be replaced, it can easily be removed from the net post and a new gear assembly can be inserted into the post.

Installation Instructions for the Douglas® Tennis Premier™ SQ Surface Mount

NOTE ON SHIPPING WHEN PURCHASING MORE THAN (1) SET OF POSTS    –    This product will be shipped via LTL Freight. The carrier will call you at the phone number provided on your order at least 24 hours in advance to set a delivery appointment. When the carrier arrives for delivery, there must be an adult present to inspect the items, sign the delivery receipt, and unload. Shipment must be thoroughly inspected upon receipt and any shortage or damage must be noted. Failure to properly note any discrepancies or issues may result in additional fees for replacement or repair.

Please note that truck drivers will not unload items – this is the sole responsibility of the recipient. If you do not have an elevated loading dock or forklift to unload your items from the truck, a liftgate may be required. A liftgate is a motorized platform attached to the back of the truck that will physically lower your order to the ground so that you can take it inside your business or home. The truck driver will place your order on the ground using the liftgate and you are responsible for moving it to the desired location at your property. This service is available for an additional fee and is NOT included with standard shipping on your order. If a Lift Gate is needed, please make this request to the carrier who will then contact us and provide a quote for the service. We will then contact you for approval/acceptance of the fee and confirmation to proceed.
