The optional pole padding is aesthetically pleasing and is recommended for player safety on pickleball and padel courts.
This standard wraparound pole pad is 3’ high and is 17” wide to completely wrap around the pole. The pad is secured around the pole with double stitched Velcro straps. The pole padding wrap is comprised of two-inch-thick high impact foam that is wrapped in all-weather vinyl that is mildew and UV resistant.
Black padding is standard; additional available colors include forest green, royal blue, navy, and red.
According to the International Padel Federation, the lateral net posts must be protected and cushioned against player contact with a thickness not less than 2 cm.
