Backyard Sports Court Containment Fencing

Tired of chasing after errant balls? The Douglas® fence system is designed for backyard small courts and offers a more subtle and attractive appearance than standard chain-link fencing. This fence system is comprised of a black steel frame with black netting opposed to a chain-link mesh. This “soft” fence system keeps errant balls in play and is the perfect addition to any multi-purpose court. The complete in-ground fence system includes all fittings, ground sleeves, weather-treated netting and lacing cord.

Customization
The fence system is completely customizable to fit the length and width of your court. You can choose from the standard heights of 6 or 10 feet or specify a custom height anywhere in between. With this versatile fence system can even choose to have the fence higher at the ends and shorter on the sides. Optional Rebound nets can be incorporated into the ball containment net system. Rebounders are ideal for tennis or other ball handling practice. Rebounders are available in standard widths of 10 or 20 feet.

Frame
The solid framework is constructed from durable 16 gauge, 1.9 OD steel.  All steel components including the frame and fittings are finished with a black polyester powder coat for maximum weather resistance. The frame includes the necessary 2” i.d., 24” PVC ground sleeves.

“Soft” Fence Netting
The heavy-duty custom sewn netting is #420 pylon that is 1-1/2″ square mesh. The black netting is weather and UV treated to withstand moisture and sunlight. The perimeter of the custom fabricated net is finished with a black double sewn polyester webbing. The reinforced edging provides the net with added strength, keeps the nets shape, and makes it easy to install. 3 mm Black polyethylene lacing cord is included to secure the netting to the framework.

SHIPPING NOTICE  –    This product will be shipped via LTL Freight. The carrier will call you at the phone number provided on your order at least 24 hours in advance to set a delivery appointment. When the carrier arrives for delivery, there must be an adult present to inspect the items, sign the delivery receipt, and unload. Shipment must be thoroughly inspected upon receipt and any shortage or damage must be noted. Failure to properly note any discrepancies or issues may result in additional fees for replacement or repair.

Please note that truck drivers will not unload items – this is the sole responsibility of the recipient. If you do not have an elevated loading dock or forklift to unload your items from the truck, a liftgate may be required. A liftgate is a motorized platform attached to the back of the truck that will physically lower your order to the ground so that you can take it inside your business or home. The truck driver will place your order on the ground using the liftgate and you are responsible for moving it to the desired location at your property. This service is available for an additional fee and is NOT included with standard shipping on your order. If a Lift Gate is needed, please make this request to the carrier who will then contact us and provide a quote for the service. We will then contact you for approval/acceptance of the fee and confirmation to proceed.
